Release-day Links in Velveteen

Open a release and choose its Launch tab. Use Create release link if it has no link, or Edit release link to change an existing page. Copy release link copies its public address, and View public page opens the page listeners see.
A release link brings your streaming destinations together on one page hosted at vlvtn.link. You edit the page inside Velveteen.
Create or edit from a release

Open the Launch tab
Open your release from the catalog, then choose Launch. - 2
Create or edit the link
Choose Create release link to create the page and open its editor. If the release already has a link, choose Edit release link. - 3
Check listening destinations
In the editor, open Links and check the Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Amazon Music, and other destination fields. Add any missing URLs before sharing. - 4
Copy or view
Return to Launch and use Copy release link to share the address, or View public page to check the listener experience.
Find every link
The Links page lists the smart links you can access across your artists and labels, alongside managed pre-save requests. Open a smart link to edit its content, design, listening destinations, or settings. No workspace selection is needed.
Plans and permissions
Artist and Free accounts can create and edit release links. Free personal smartlink access includes up to five release pages. Additional page types and features such as conversion tracking can require Pro. You still need permission to edit the release or link.
Before sharing
Streaming services can take time to make a release available. Velveteen adds the catalog URLs available when you create the page. Creating a page does not search every service or guarantee that missing URLs will appear later. Use Check streaming links in the editor to review destinations and add missing URLs. Pages created from the general Links dialog may start as Draft; use Settings to publish them before sharing.

Where is the edit button?+
Open the release's Launch tab and choose Edit release link. You can also open the page from the Links list.
Do I need Pro to edit a release link?+
No. Basic release-link creation and editing are available on Artist and Free accounts, subject to permissions and the Free personal link limit. Paid features have their own plan requirements.
Why are streaming buttons missing?+
The page can only show streaming URLs that have been added. Open Links in the editor, check the destination fields, and add any missing release URLs.
What happens if links fail to load?+
Use Retry on the Links page. Available links and pre-save requests remain visible when another part of the list cannot load. Contact support if the problem continues.
