Managing and Removing Marketing Links in Velveteen

The Links page brings your available links together. Open a smart link to edit it, copy its URL to share it, or remove it when you no longer need the page. A release Launch tab also gives you direct edit, copy, and public-page actions.
Open a smart link from the Links page to edit it. For a release link, you can also choose Edit release link, Copy release link, or View public page on the release Launch tab.
What you can do
Copy the URL
Copy a live link to share it anywhere.
Open in the editor
Use the SmartLink editor to change destinations, text, artwork, and design.
Cancel a pending build
A pre-save link that is still Requested or Building can be cancelled, which stops it from being built.
Remove a link
Delete a link from Velveteen when you no longer need it.
Removing a release-day link
Removing a smart link takes its public page offline. Its historical activity is retained. There is no restore action in the editor.

Saving and removing SmartLinks
The SmartLink editor saves text and design changes as you work. If saving fails, keep the editor open. Your unsaved changes stay visible; use Retry save when the service is available again. A conflict message means another editor changed the link. Reload before making further changes.
Removing a SmartLink takes its public page offline and keeps its historical activity. It does not erase subscribers or connected email service records. Privacy cleanup is a separate process. There is no restore action in the editor.
Cancelling a pre-save in progress
If a pre-save link is still Requested or Building, removing it cancels the request and stops the build before the link goes Live.

What happens when I remove a link?+
The smart link is taken offline and removed from the active Links list. Historical activity is retained. There is no restore action in the editor.
Do I need to choose a workspace?+
No. Your available artist and label smart links appear together. Opening a page resolves its owner automatically.
Can I get a removed link back?+
No. Removal is permanent. You would need to create a new link.
How do I stop a pre-save that is still building?+
Remove it while it is Requested or Building. That cancels the request and stops the build.
