Profile Settings in Velveteen

Profile settings let you update your full name, start an email change, manage store visibility, toggle direct sales, choose email preferences, set payout preferences, and reach account deletion.
The Settings page is account-level. It does not edit release metadata or track credits, but some toggles affect public artist, album, track, and store pages.
Profile controls
Displayed from your auth account. Use Change to start the email-change flow.
Full Name
Editable display name stored on your profile.
Role
Read-only account role shown from your profile.
Login Methods
A Settings card links to Apple, Google, password, and passkey management.
Store and communication toggles
Store
Controls whether your artist, album, and track pages are visible to fans.
Direct Sales
Enables the profile-level direct-sales setting before you enable sales per release.
Email Preferences
Product updates, tips and offers, newsletter, and achievement emails can be toggled. App emails stay locked on.
Danger Zone
Links to permanent account deletion.
Frequently asked questions
Can I edit my account role?+
No. Role is displayed in Settings but is not editable there.
Does turning off Store delete public pages?+
No. It hides your artist, album, and track pages. It does not delete catalog records.
Does Direct Sales turn on every release?+
It enables the profile-level setting. Releases still have release-level sales settings.
Can I turn off app emails?+
No. Transactional app emails for releases, royalties, invitations, and tickets stay locked on.
