Account Settings, Plans, and Billing in Velveteen

Your Velveteen account controls who you are in the app, how you sign in, what plan features are available, how billing is managed, and how royalty payouts are sent. Most account controls live in Settings and Billing.
Use this section for account-level settings. Catalog pages handle releases, tracks, artists, labels, shareholders, and store settings tied to a release.
What account settings cover
Profile
Email, full name, role, store visibility, direct-sales toggle, and email preferences.
Billing
Current subscription status, plan selection, payment method, and invoice history.
Login methods
Apple, Google, password, and passkey sign-in methods connected to the same account.
Payout preferences
Country, payout method, payout email, and payout minimums for royalty payments.
The basic account workflow

Open Settings
Use Settings to update profile details, login methods, store visibility, direct sales, email preferences, payout preferences, and account deletion. - 2
Open Billing
Use Billing to check your plan, start checkout, manage your subscription, update payment details, and view invoices. - 3
Check your plan effects
Plan gates affect artist limits, release submission, pitching, custom labels, collaborator invites, label features, support access, and direct-sale fees. - 4
Keep payout details current
Royalties can only be paid when payout country, method, and email are usable for the payout path.
Frequently asked questions
Where do I change my email?+
Go to Settings, then use the Change button beside Email. The login-method page controls sign-in providers separately.
Where do I manage my subscription?+
Go to Billing. Active subscribers can use Manage Subscription, which opens the Stripe billing portal.
Why does my account say Label-managed?+
That means your account is operating under a label. Billing and label-level permissions are controlled by the label account.
Where do I set payout details?+
Use Settings, then Payout Preferences. PayPal is available internationally, and Interac e-Transfer appears for Canada.
