Deleting Your Velveteen Account

Updated June 12, 2026

The short answer

Deleting your account is permanent. If you have no retained distribution or royalty history, Velveteen hard-deletes the account. If you have retained records, Velveteen removes personal information, disables the account, and keeps required financial and distribution records for 6 years.

Use Delete Account only when you want to lose access immediately. The page requires the exact confirmation phrase DELETE MY ACCOUNT and may require your password.
