Email Notification Preferences in Velveteen

Velveteen email falls into two groups. Essential app emails about releases, royalties, invitations, and tickets always send. Optional emails, product updates, tips and offers, the newsletter, and achievement emails, can be turned on or off in Settings.
You control the optional emails. The essential ones cannot be turned off because they carry account-critical information.

App emails (always on)
Releases, royalties, invitations, and tickets. These cannot be turned off.
Product updates
New features and platform improvements. Optional.
Tips & offers
Distribution tips, special offers, and getting-started guides. Optional.
Newsletter
A monthly roundup of platform news and artist spotlights. Optional.
Achievements
An email when your artists hit streaming milestones. Optional and off by default.

Or unsubscribe from an email
Marketing emails include a one-click unsubscribe link.

Can I stop all emails?+

Why am I still getting some emails after unsubscribing?+
Unsubscribing stops marketing emails. Essential account emails continue because they carry information you need.
Are achievement emails on by default?+
No. Achievement emails are off until you turn them on.
