Notifications in Velveteen
Updated June 13, 2026
Velveteen keeps you posted in three ways: in-app notifications in the notification center and bell, emails you can tune in Settings, and push notifications in the mobile app. Essential updates about your releases and account always reach you.
This section covers the notification center, what triggers a notification, how to manage email, and mobile push.
The three channels
In-app
Notifications in the bell menu and the Notifications page, with an unread badge.
Emails for important events, with preferences you can adjust in Settings.
Mobile push
Push notifications on the Velveteen mobile app.
What you can control
Essential emails about your releases, royalties, invitations, and tickets always send. Optional emails like product updates and tips can be turned off.
In-app notifications are always recorded so you have a history, and you can mark them read or filter to unread.
