Track Credits in Velveteen

Track credits in Velveteen include contributors, performers, artist credits, publisher links, and shareholders. Submission requires at least one contributor, one Composer, production credit, and at least one instrument performer.
Credits are more than display text. They connect people, publishers, and royalty participants to a specific recording.
Credit groups
Contributors
Role-based people such as COMPOSER, LYRICIST, PRODUCER, ENGINEER, MIXER, and MASTERING_ENGINEER.
Performers
Instrument-based performance credits attached through track_performers.
Publishers
Publisher links pair a composer or lyricist with a publishing house.
Shareholders
Email-based master royalty split rows for the track.
Contributor rules
Velveteen requires at least one Composer contributor on every submitted track.
Non-instrumental tracks require at least one Lyricist. Instrumental tracks cannot have Lyricist contributors.
Every submitted track also needs at least one production role and at least one instrument performer.
