Sharing Achievements in Velveteen

The Streaming badge is the one you can share, as a card image generated by Velveteen. An artist visibility toggle controls whether badges are shown, and you get an Achievement Unlocked notification whenever a new badge is earned.
Sharing and visibility are separate from earning. You always earn badges automatically, but how you show or share them is up to you. This page covers the share card, the visibility toggle, and how you are notified.
Sharing the Streaming badge

Earn a Streaming tier
Sharing is available once the artist has earned at least one Streaming tier. The other badges do not have a share option. - 2
Open the Achievements page
Find the Streaming card for the artist. Earned, shareable badges show a Share link. - 3
Use the share card
The Share link opens a card image for the milestone, which you can save and post to social.
Controlling visibility
Each artist has an achievements visibility setting, which is on by default. It controls whether the artist's badges are shown.
Turning it off hides the badges without affecting what the artist has earned. The achievements are still tracked, they are just not displayed.
How you are notified
In-app notification
Every earned badge creates an Achievement Unlocked notification that links to the Achievements page.
Achievement email
For the shareable Streaming badge, you can also receive an email with a share link, if you have opted in to achievement emails in your email preferences.

Frequently asked questions
Why can I only share the Streaming badge?+
Streaming is the one achievement Velveteen sets up as shareable, with a card image. The Releases, Sales, EP, Album, and Social Presence badges do not have a share option.
What is on the share card?+
It is an image for the streaming milestone you reached, which you can save and post to social.
Does hiding badges delete them?+
No. The visibility toggle only controls whether badges are shown. Earned achievements stay on the artist.
Will I always be emailed about a new badge?+
Not always. The in-app notification is sent for every badge, but the achievement email is for the shareable Streaming badge and only if you have opted in.
