Referral Status in Velveteen

Each referral moves through three states: Pending after your friend signs up, Subscribed once they start a paid plan, and an earned amount once your credit is applied. You can track all of them on the Referrals page.
The status tells you where each referral stands and whether your credit has landed.
The three states
Pending
Your friend signed up with your link but has not subscribed yet.
Subscribed
Your friend started a paid plan, and your reward is on its way.
Earned
Your credit has been applied, shown as the amount you earned.
Tracking your referrals
The Referrals page lists your referrals with their status and shows totals for how many friends you have referred, how many subscribed, and how much credit you have earned.
Frequently asked questions
What does Pending mean?+
Your friend used your link to sign up but has not subscribed to a paid plan yet.
What does Subscribed mean?+
Your friend started a paid subscription. Your matching credit follows once it is active.
How do I see what I have earned?+
The Referrals page shows each referral's status and your total credits earned.
Why is a referral still Pending?+
The reward depends on your friend subscribing. Until they start a paid plan, the referral stays Pending.
