This is my debut, EP “SPLIT”, a compilation of songsI hold dear to my heart. This EP is a treasure trove of diverse melodies and emotions. Each song is a personal journey, a distinct piece of my soul woven into music. From the upbeat rhythms that make you feel energized, to the soulful ballads that bring tears to my eyes, each track is a unique expression of my deepest feelings. The diversity of sounds and emotions in this release resonates with me on a profound level, making it a musical masterpiece that I cherish dearly. I included a variety of tones and content to make the people listening go through an emotional journey, from good vibes to the depiction of intense mental struggles. I chose “SPLIT” as the title track as it means the most to me at this current time. I struggle profusely with my mental health and its hard to explain to people. I wrote this song to get the mental battle I experience across and more understood. With this song not only did I want people to understand, I wanted to put them inside my head and make them experience even a little bit of what I do through the disconnected guitar, the music intensity and the lyrics (profanity was included to really emphasize the messiness of mental health). A lot of my music is about mental health as I want to bring awareness and offer support to others struggling through my music. My hope is that hearing how I struggle as well will give them comfort in the fact they’re not alone. Releasing this set of songs means a lot to me and I feel great affection for these songs. I hope others when listening feel how I poured my heart into this and love it as much as I do.
